making a video production company for adults?

Im thinking about starting my own adult video production company. I hope is in So Cal in the next 3 months. I have a good friend, makes short that has all the equipment (cameras, lighting, editing, etc. teams). I have other contact has started his own production company that deals with major film public (non adult). I was wondering if anyone knows how much is to hire a lawyer to make contracts and prepare everything. It is also possible to establish a production company in another production company (subsidiary)? How much will startup costs will be less equipment and models?

Well, you can go through the legal catch if you just incorporate into the business as a partnership. However, you could try other sources to protect itself as a pre-paid legal to give advice on protecting your assets and you. I'm not selling anything, but I was thinking the same question a while ago because I wanted to start their own production (adults) of the company. That's my suggestion!
