Camera Buying

Need help buying a camera for my digital photography class?

Ok, then I am a college student and am taking a photography class, I do not know what type of camera you should buy. I want a camera that has a good megapixel and easy to use configuration. preferably either Canon or Nikon. im not looking for something super expensive, and my class is important, but to explore something that can be used for the next two or three years. if you have other brands or suggestions, please feel free to say thanks:)

In a photography class that is going to learn about the basics photography (opening, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field ,…). You must have a camera that can be set to manual (M) may to change lenses. Any entry level DSLR from Canon or Nikon should do the job. Now consider your budget and if you can try a couple of them before committing, you choose seems most comfortable with.
